We opened premises in Puerto Real (Cadiz), at the same time as closing our two centres in La Abadesa and Pentasa in Burgos to open a larger, more modern one in the city.
We continued growing with new centres in Cartagena (Murcia) and Carbajosa de la Sagrada (Salamanca).
We bought Puntocash, Carrefour’s wholesale distribution subsidiary company. We thus increased our business volume with 29 more establishments in nine autonomous regions. We also opened a new centre in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
We set up in Alicante and Albacete. We also purchased the assets of the Burgos company Dilcasa, thus incorporating new centres in Valladolid, Logroño and Madrid and two in Burgos.
We moved into Murcia with a centre in Alcantarilla.
We entered the Valencia region with centres in Torrevieja, Elche and Castellón. We also opened premises in Lleida and Tarragona.
We continued our expansion in the Balearic Islands, with premises in Ibiza.
We acquired Booker España’s centres in Montcada i Reixac and in Mercabarna, both in Barcelona. We also opened our first centre in the Balearic Islands, in Minorca.
Manresa(Barcelona) was the next town in which we set up.
Our next move was the opening of the centre in Vic (Barcelona).
The expansion continued with the opening of the Sant Boi centre (Barcelona).
We started our expansion, opening a centre in Mataró (Barcelona).
A new centre was opened in Blanes (Girona).
We opened the centre in Palamós (Girona).
Two new centres were opened, in Olot (Girona) and in Girona city.
We opened our first centre in Figueres (Girona). It was the first cash-and-carry centre in Spain, making us pioneers in the business in Spain.
